To use the Program Information Management System (PIMS) for Canada Community-Building Fund (CCBF) reporting and administration, you must agree the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Account Privileges
PIMS accounts are only available to staff members of local government who require PIMS access for legitimate business purposes and to CCBF administrators. If you no longer require PIMS access, you must notify CCBF program staff. Unused accounts will be closed.
2. Identity Verification
It is prohibited to falsely represent oneself as a member of local government to request a PIMS account. CCBF program staff reserve the right to verify the identity and role in local government of a person requesting an account. Requests where the user identity cannot be verified will be denied.
3. Accounts Not Shared
You agree that you will not share your account username and password with other staff members in your organization or with anyone else. Each individual must have their own unique account.
4. Password Integrity
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account password. Shared, reused or compromised passwords can lead to unauthorized access to your account, data breaches and other security risks. If you suspect unauthorized access to your PIMS account, change your password and report it to CCBF staff immediately.
5. Password Policy
Your password must comply with the PIMS Password Policy:
- 10 characters (minimum);
- Not based on anything somebody could easily guess;
- Update password annually.
6. Non-Disclosure
All information found in PIMS must be treated as Private and Confidential. You must not share information found in PIMS on the Internet, social media or by any other means.
